MACA Queens Jubilee Event

What a great pleasure to be part of an excellent event which came together in a very short space of time. A wonderful occasion under the Kent sunshine brought the community of Medway together in celebration around music, food, fashion and fun.

A hard graft setting up the stage on Thursday afternoon and a busy Friday morning got us ready for the 1000 or so visitors that would pass through the event. It was great working with Lee and Ethan at Medway sound before taking my proverbial seat as sound engineer ably supported by a student apprentice from Mid-Kent College for a selection of talented musicians and young performers. It was a pleasure working with the event hosts at The Historic Dockyard Chatham and a joy to see how much all involved seemed to take away from the event. Appreciation goes out to the team at Stage Ace for their support. Thanks to Medway Afro-Carribean Association (MACA) for inviting me to be involved and to all who took part.
